Our Story
Our family, like many others, has a unique dynamic that centers around our autistic 20-year-old daughter. As her parents, we understand the importance of creating a safe and understanding environment for her, not just within our home, but also in the broader community. Recognizing the challenges that emergency responders may face in interacting with individuals with autism, we are driven by a strong desire to provide them with specific training. The goal is to equip these first responders with the knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of autism, enabling them to respond appropriately and effectively in emergency situations. By bridging this gap in understanding, we hope to ensure the safety and well-being of not just our daughter, but every individual with autism who may encounter an emergency.
